Coconut coir

Our Coconut-coir Pad is a one inch mat made of coconut fiber (coir) infused with natural latex. The bed rug is porous and allows air circulation between the bottom of a mattress and a platform bed’s surface. It is strongly recommended for air flow under any mattress or futon on a solid-platform bed or for use as a breathable base for a traditional Shikibuton futon mattress.
