LGA Quality is a comprehensive test that insures a product stands up to its claims of long lasting quality. LGA Quality focuses on the craftsmanship of a product and does not analyze the product for harmful substances. If you are concerned about chemicals in a LGA Quality product, please look for the LGA Tested certificate that shows a product is free of all harmful substances. Manufactures may have had their products tested for harmful substances with other certification methods as well.

The eco-INSTITUT-Label is awarded to low-emission and low-pollutant products: Building materials, floor coverings, mattresses, bedding, furniture and consumer goods. Extensive lab testing is performed in test chambers capturing all emissions from the product (according to ISO 16000). Depending on the product group further compound analysis is performed on selected parameters such as heavy metals, pesticides, and halogen organic compounds.
The Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is recognized as the world's leading processing standard for textiles (clothing, home textiles, and personal care products) made from certified organically produced raw materials.
